…And it’s all go down at the barn.
Firstly, after so many of you seemed to be so thirsty this summer and drank us out of medium and medium dry we have finally got around to bottling some more cider and it will be available in the on line shop and at all of our usual outlets from today.
Secondly, barring any major weather disasters in the next three weeks the apple crop is going to be a bumper one this year and it’s ready for harvest about a month earlier than normal. We will be milling and pressing from around the 22 September.
And finally, If you want to learn how to make cider, we are running two training sessions on Saturday 11th October, morning and afternoon. If you would like to come and have a go then please drop Mike a mail and we’ll allocate places on a first come first served basis. There is no charge for the course and you are welcome to bring your own apples and / or a suitable fermenting vessel and air lock if you want to take some cider home and ferment it yourself.
